Shape

In the editor, open Layout → Shape. Choose 9:16 (TikTok, Reels, Shorts), 1:1, 4:5 or 16:9. Each clip can have its own shape; framing, captions and effects follow the new shape and the preview updates right away.

The same clip in 4:5. Footage: ITU · AI for Good · CC BY. Rendered by Klyp.

Layout

  • Auto — picks the best framing for the video. The panel tells you what Auto chose.
  • Follow speaker — crops to whoever is talking and cuts when the speaker changes. Best for interviews and podcasts.
  • Split — two people, one on top and one below.
  • Fit — the whole frame on a blurred background, nothing cut off. Good for screen recordings and wide shots.
  • Center — a simple centre crop. Good for videos that are already vertical.
