Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Klyp (“Klyp”, “we”, “us”) for using the Klyp website and service (the “Service”), which turns long videos into short clips. Klyp is operated by the founder of Klyp, based in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.

1. Your account

  • You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live, to use Klyp.
  • Give a real email address and keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
  • One person per account. Don’t share paid accounts.
  • A demo sandbox (“Try the demo”) is private to you and is deleted automatically, with everything in it, 24 hours after it was created — unless you turn it into a free account.

2. Your videos and content

You keep all rights to the videos you upload or link and to the clips Klyp makes from them (“Your Content”). You give us a limited permission to store, process and display Your Content only to run the Service for you — for example to transcribe it, find moments, render clips and show them in your account. We don’t use Your Content to advertise, and we don’t sell it. We never use your videos, audio or transcripts to train AI models.

You promise that you own Your Content or have permission to use it, and that it does not:

  • infringe anyone’s copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights;
  • contain sexual content involving minors, sexual content without consent, or content that promotes violence or terrorism;
  • break any law that applies to you or to us.

When you paste a link (for example from YouTube), you are responsible for having the right to download and reuse that video. We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules, and we respond to valid copyright complaints sent to our support email (listed on this page once it is set up).

3. Plans, payments and limits

  • The Free plan includes a monthly amount of video minutes, a watermark and lower resolution. Paid plans raise these limits as shown on the pricing section of our website.
  • Paid plans are subscriptions billed in advance each month until you cancel. Payments are handled by our reseller and Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy, which also handles taxes and invoices.
  • You can cancel any time from the Billing page. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
  • Unused minutes do not roll over to the next month.
  • Refunds follow our Refund Policy.
  • We may change prices with at least 14 days’ notice by email. Changes apply from your next billing period.

4. Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the Service: no attempts to break or overload it, to access other people’s accounts or data, to resell the Service without our permission, or to use automated tools to create accounts or abuse free plans.

5. AI results

Klyp uses automatic speech recognition and other automatic tools. Transcripts, captions, translations, chosen moments, hooks and framing can contain mistakes. Check your clips before you publish them — you are responsible for what you post.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep Klyp running and fast, but we can’t promise it will always be available or error-free. Processing times can vary. We may change or stop features; if we shut down the Service we will tell you at least 30 days in advance so you can download your clips.

7. Ending your account

You can stop using Klyp and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. When an account is deleted, its videos and clips are deleted too.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer laws that can’t be excluded.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is important we will email account holders before it takes effect. Continuing to use Klyp after that means you accept the new terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim there. Before going to court, please write to us — most problems can be solved quickly.
