Minutes measure the video you send in, not the clips you make. On Pro that works out to $0.032 per minute of video.
You pay for the video you process
A 45-minute podcast uses 45 minutes, however many clips you make from it. Charged to the second, not rounded up.
Only the part you pick
Choose a time range before processing and only that range counts.
Editing is free
Re-renders, caption changes, new sizes, translations and exports never use minutes.
Failures give minutes back
If processing fails, the minutes return to your balance automatically.

No. The Free plan is free with 30 minutes a month and every feature. You only add a card when you upgrade.
The length of the video you process — or of the range you select before processing. Making clips, editing them, re-rendering and exporting don’t use minutes.
Your clips, edits and exports keep working. New videos wait until your allowance resets 30 days after it started, or you can upgrade to Pro right away.
Yes, from the Billing page in the app. You keep your plan until the end of the month you paid for, and you won’t be charged again.
Yes. If you’re not happy with your first payment for a paid plan, write to us within 14 days of the charge and we refund it in full. Details are in the refund policy.
