Import a video from a link

Paste a YouTube, Instagram or TikTok link and Klyp downloads and clips it for you.

Updated

  1. Copy the video’s link (it must start with http:// or https://).
  2. On Projects, press Ctrl V anywhere — the link lands in the field under the drop zone — or paste it into the field yourself.
  3. Press Import (the arrow button). The project opens and shows “Downloading the video from the link.”

The settings in Options apply to imports too, and the same length limits apply as for files: up to 30 minutes on Free and 180 minutes on Pro.

If the import fails, the message says why. Check that the video is public and the link opens in a private browser window, then try again — or download the file yourself and upload it.
