Add a video, let Klyp find the moments, and download finished vertical clips.

Updated

On this page
  1. Add your video
  2. Watch it work
  3. Review the clips
  4. Download

This takes a few minutes for most videos. You need a free Klyp account — sign up with an email and a password of at least 8 characters, no card needed.

Add your video

  1. Sign in. You land on Projects, with a big drop zone at the top.
  2. Drop a video file on it (or click it to browse), or paste a YouTube, Instagram or TikTok link into the field under it and press Import.
  3. Klyp checks the length against your plan: videos up to 30 minutes on Free and up to 180 minutes on Pro.
  4. Processing starts on its own. For a file, keep the tab open until the upload reaches 100% — after that you can close it, the project keeps working.

Watch it work

The project page shows each step as it happens: writing down every word with its exact time, working out who speaks when, finding faces so each clip frames the speaker, and scoring every question, story and punchline.

Review the clips

When it is ready, the Clips tab shows ranked clips. Each has a virality score and a short reason it was picked. The best few are rendered automatically, so you can play and download them right away. Open any clip to fine-tune it in the editor.

  2. Or press Download all at the top of the project for a zip of every rendered clip, with a captions.txt file of titles, hooks and captions.
