Good to know for Urdu

Details that matter.

Script

Urdu captions use a Naskh-style font; Nastaliq (the classic calligraphic style) isn’t available yet.

Language

Urdu and Hindi sound alike; set the language to Urdu so captions are written in Urdu script.

Accuracy

Speech recognition is less accurate than for big languages — read the captions before posting.

How it works

Three steps.

  1. Step 1: Upload your video

Choose Urdu as the language (more reliable than auto-detect for Urdu).
  2. Step 2: Klyp writes the captions

Every word is timed and highlighted as it is spoken. Fix any word in the transcript.
  3. Step 3: Download

Get vertical clips with captions burned in, or SRT/VTT files for your own editor.
